Times of India reported that Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay flagged off and completed a 6 km 'Start Run, Stop Drugs' marathon in Chennai on the International Day Against Drug Abuse, with ministers, officials, volunteers, and young people taking an anti-drug pledge. TVK Tracker treats this as a public-awareness and promise-tracker signal, not as a substitute for enforcement, treatment, rehabilitation, school forums, or drug-case outcome data.
The item has a public implementation signal, but the final outcome still depends on official orders, budgets, court records, department data, or later reporting.
